Enough reason to believe in…

It was like a gigantic wave of blood, gushing in my aorta when I came close to him for the first time. I couldn’t resist the appeal to hold him close, embrace him against my chest, feel the raw aroma coming out of his body. I was feeling a unique warmth in both of us. It was like a long awaited love. A love that kindled even more when we met each other. His charming face was itself a testimony for every little second of our wait, of our meeting. The touch of his hands was soft enough to melt my own heart as i fell in love with him at that very moment.

The feelings of compassion, security, tranquility, care and tenderness; all amalgamated into a single red colored flower of love, filling the room with its scent. Had any one in this world the power to sneak into my heart, he would certainly see a garden in there.

“SubhanAllah”, “Walhamdulillah” I acclaimed, as I saw my little angel baby boy, Ibrahim.

The birth of Ibrahim had been a real journey for I and my wife. He made us realize that he should be a reason enough for us to believe in the oneness, the ultimate perfection, the power of the creation of One God, Allah, Exalted be He far above from what people associate with Him falsely. Only after becoming a father do I really understand the depth of ayah (verses) of Quran in which Allah explains the matter of creation. The mind wonders on the reality a human being, his ego and his pride when Allah says:

قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلًا

His companion said to him while he was conversing with him, “Have you disbelieved in He who created you from dust and then from a sperm-drop and then proportioned you [as] a man?
Surah Kahf 18:37

‘No, by my Lord, I do not. All praise is for You, I believe in You what You’ve shown me’. In 9 months, Allah showed us all the different stages of a human baby before coming into this matrix, how Allah SWT creates the organs inside the belly of a woman, in many folds, taken care off, given oxygen, food and utmost care from the mother. Despite her weakness, she pours herself in only for her baby. Allah designs the awesome systems of the baby body and bestows intellect inside his grey matter. Do you see, there was nothing but sperms and then Allah fashioned a complete human out of it, subhanAllah. This is the incomparable perfection of Allah, yet man invokes others besides Him.

I could remember the hadith with I heard Ibrahim crying for the first time,

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (sallallhu alaihi wassalam) as saying:
No child is born but he is pricked by the Satan and he begins to weep because of the pricking of the Satan except the son of Mary (Eesa AS) and his mother (Maryam AS). Abu Huraira then said: You may recite if you so like (the verse):

” I seek Thy protection for her and her offspring against Satan the accursed” [Ale-Imran: ayah 36] [1]

Invoking Allah in my heart to protect him from the evil whispers of Satan the accursed, and asking Him from His bounties for him, I smiled at my wife, waiting for him to grow up, be a Hafiz and Qaari of Qur’an and become a sadqa e jariya for his parents. Ameen.

The question is whats in there for you in my experience. Well, I’ve learnt a few things and if you choose to benefit, stay tuned for the next artcile, insha’Allah 🙂

The perfect balance

Bismillah

Asalam o alaykum wr wb!

Last night, it was 18th of Ramadan and the moon looked shining, bright and was covered in clouds. The sight was really fascinating for me as I am a regular observer of  moon and wonder on the creation of Allah Subhana huwa taa’la. Its good to observe the beauty that Allah’s creation has. Perfection, exclusiveness, patterns and peace are the attributes of its aesthetics, unlike the architecture created by human beings, creates a nirvana upon my sight. But, last night it was different. The nirvana transformed into a burst of thoughts because of the knowledge I’ve reasoned through science.

Let’s go back to Inter/A-Levels Physics before I make my point. Remember, when we studied the mass of earth and moon, gravitational pull, light years and such concepts. The few concepts are as follows:

  • Remember through Law of Gravitational energy, we studied how masses of the bodies determine the magnitude of force body A exerts on body B.
  • Remember, the greater the distance between the two bodies, the lesser the gravitational pull is.
  • Remember, the earth revolves around the Sun in 360 days while the moon revolves around the earth in 29/30 days.
  • Remember, the earth and the moon collectively revolves around the sun through out the year.

Did you notice, the mass of earth, moon and sun are interdependent on the forces they exert on each other? Similarly, the force is dependent on the distance between these bodies, and the time in which they revolve around each other is dependent on the distance and the mass of these bodies. Subhan’Allah. Who maintained this cosmological balance?

Allah SWT states in the Quran at various places,

And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.
[Surah An-Nahl 16 : 12]

It is Allah who has maintained this cosmological balance in this Universe. But in this ayah Allah talks about the signs for the people of understanding, don’t He? What are these signs? One of them is what I was made to reflect upon last night. Allah says in the Quran,

It is He Who made the sun a shining thing and the moon as a light and measured out its (their) stages, that you might know the number of years and the reckoning.
[Surah Yunus 10 : 5]

That you might know the number of years. This is the purpose of the Sun and the Moon apart from all the other purposes it serves. Can your mind relate the laws of physics to the phenomenon of time, how Allah SWT made them exactly at the right distance apart, with the exactly right mass to make them exactly 365 days for the sun and 29/30 days for the moon, for us to calculate days, months, years and centuries??? How He provided the most appropriate gravitational pull for them, not more to let them fall into each other and not less to let one lose the other? This cannot be the product of chance. Chance doesn’t have perfection.

O people of understanding, ponder over the signs of Allah. Fear Him much. Be dutyful to Him. He is above all that people associate with Him. Verily He is Subhana huwa taa’la a’ama yushrikoon.

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.
[Surah Ale-Imran 3 : 190]

“The seed that we planted in this man’s mind may change everything” – Cobb: [2010 Movie: INCEPTION] – Part 1

How many of you have watched the movie “Inception”. Leanardo Di Caprio? Remember? Yeah, its great. Great story, greater action and the best thing is the concept. Planting ideas to steal information from the people’s mind. Dangerously wow.

Mind techniques have always been a turn on for everyone when I was a child. We used to learn small tricks for judging what number are you thinking, what is the count of things in your hand etcetera. I never believed such things can actually happen in real life. It was merely judging, careful mathematical calculations and nothing more. Extracting information from another mind wasn’t real at all. Infact, I consider my mind as the most secret closet for storing information, data and emotions that I don’t want to share with anyone. It would pose a direct threat to the privacy of, not only my own mind but, also to the minds of people around me.

The first time I watched Inception, it stuck my mind so badly that I couldn’t do anything but to think and ponder over its concept.

“How is it possible?”

“Can we really plant ideas into people’s mind?”

“Can we really get to know what we want from other person’s mind?”

“Will I get to know what other people are thinking?”.

I didn’t believed in it completely however I do realize the magnitude of planting ideas into people’s mind and how can it serve us. Just imagine, you want someone to think the way you are thinking, about the things you are thinking, planting your ideas into their minds. Do you imagine what you can do with it?

“How does this concept of planting ideas in people’s mind effects me?”

How does it effects you? Well, someone might be around planting his ideas in your mind, telling you what to do. You probably will be mind controlled via proxy. You won’t even realize that you are being manipulated and you’ll own the ideas yourself. It doesn’t matter if the idea is small or big. No idea is small when I see the magnitude of its impact. You’ll be carrying other people’s ideas and not your own. You’ll be living other people’s life and not your own. You’ll be serving other people’s agenda and not your own.

It is dangerous.

Yes, it is.

Questions that can be asked are

  • How is this inception done?
  • What are the different ways to do it?
  • How can I know I am being incepted?
  • HOW CAN I DO INCEPTION (evil grins) ?

I had struggled a lot to find an answer

and it was

________

(to be continued).

“Dreams feel real while we’re in them. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange”
– Cobb – From the movie Inception, 2010
